This behavior has the characteristics of what happens when the processor(s) and cores are overloaded or nearly so. In other words, focus NOTION 5 on generating the raw audio for the virtual instruments, and do the producing and mixing in a DAW application. (3) Effects plug-ins use computer resources, as does the NOTION 5 "Reverb" plug-in, so as a general rule I think it is better to do effects plug-in work in a DAW application rather than directly in NOTION 5, since even though everything is running in 64-bit mode, there are limitations to the amount of work NOTION 5 can do.
